Elin Mack works with collage based on materials she finds in urban areas. In this series she has photographed the walls she usually “steals” from, which has developed to an art project of its own. The series shows the poetry in whats raw, torn and perishable.

About the Artist
Elin Mack lives and works in Oslo, with a wide range of artistic expressions and techniques. She has studied at various art schools in Oslo, Iceland and London, and holds a master’s degree in graphic design from Oslo National Academy of the Arts. Elin has held several solo exhibitions, and participated in a number of exhibitions in Norway and around the world. Whether the medium is installation, painting, photography or collage, she works intuitively with shape, tone, color, pattern, texture and form to create a graphic expression. Elin is a member of Norske Bildende Kunstnere (NBK), Billedkunstnere Oslo Akershus (BOA) and The International Society of Assemblage and Collage Artists.
