About the Artist
Norwegian artist Børge Bredenbekk (1975) studied for a Bachelor of Arts in England followed by many years of illustration work with his former collective Brenneriveien and his agent ByHands. He is now a full time artist and combines different technical skills with a keen eye for storytelling, considered compositions and bold visuals.
His work is divided in two techniques, drawn and graphic, both inspired by late last century social realism and somewhere between traditional and modern in form. He is generally fascinated by manual labor, craftsmanship and iconic compositions.
