→ 60x60cm on 250g mist paper
→ Screen printed by hand
→ Ltd Edition of 35

A series of two prints inspired by the remaining snow clusters on our apple trees marking the end of winter. I wanted this to be somewhere in between figurative and abstract. The bold shapes dissolve up close but from a distance the depiction is clear. Hand printed in two colors on a Mist colored paper.

About the Artist
Norwegian artist Børge Bredenbekk (1975) studied for a Bachelor of Arts in England followed by many years of illustration work with his former collective Brenneriveien and his agent ByHands. He is now a full time artist and combines different technical skills with a keen eye for storytelling, considered compositions and bold visuals.
His work is divided in two techniques, drawn and graphic, both inspired by late last century social realism and somewhere between traditional and modern in form. He is generally fascinated by manual labor, craftsmanship and iconic compositions.
